Been to a weekend market!

For context, I rarely go out of the house because I work remotely. These kinds of things excite me, and I considered this a treat after finishing a painting. Also, I don't feel like painting tonight, so I'm writing this journal entry.

I usually think twice before doing a purchase, but if there's anything I get tempted at buying is trinkets and stickers. I also feel very happy supporting artists I personally know (a lot of the artists are from an art collective I'm in when I used to constantly doing artist alley boothing). I also ended up having a tarot reading from someone who also reads. I like having others do my readings paid or not, because I do it alone I just feel trapped around my own biases and perspectives. The readings I had were generally great! It was rather nice to know I'm taking the right path. A lot of it has to do with career and personal friendships (Nah, you won't be hearing about love life readings from me any time soon lmao. I kinda enjoy being single right now and for the past few years).

It was also nice to reconnect with friends since I haven't boothed for a long time now.

Stuff I bought!

Most of these are stuff I bought from my friends in the alley. I have lots of stuff to fill in my sticker book, but a sticker book has always been my excuse for indecision. I put a lot of it now on my Aquaflask.

My tumbler has to be this size because I drink a lot of water a day.

Some of these are from outside the weekend market, but I've decided that my Aquaflask is a perfect color for these things :) My personal favorites is a collection of stickers related to Manila called Manila Girls by local artist Kenny Tai. I've been following this art series for as since I was a university student and someone who isn't serious about art yet. It's also such a good remembrance of the 10 years I still lived in Metro Manila both for university and employment. I went back to my hometown because I personally haven't been vibing with the city lifestyle for quite some time now, apart from a myriad of personal stuff. I'm glad going home was rather easy because of my remote work. I have some insanely good memories there though.
